GHENT, September 22, 1994 --- FirstClass NV today announces the
availability of Tailor Office 2.0c and Tailor Publishing 2.0c on
NEXTSTEP for HP PA-RISC.

New Tailor Revision
===================
Tailor 2.0c is the latest revision of the proven visual PostScript
editor.  It is provided as a Multiple Archtitecture Binary for HP
PA-RISC, Intel and Motorola.  In addition to some minor problems
fixes, there are important new features :

         - Support for the Open Object Embedding standard proposed
                 by Xanthus Int.
         - Use of CrashCatcher from WhiteLight Systems to improve
                 robustness
         - German on-line help

A complete distribution package for Tailor 2.0c is available from
the Oregon State archive server (see below).  Owners of Tailor
Office or Publishing 2.0a can upgrade to 2.0c at no cost (other
than downloading the distribution package) using the same license
strings.

In demo mode (i.e. when unlicensed) Tailor 2.0c is fully
functional except :

         - it does NOT load keystones (ReconstructText,
                 SaveIllustrator,...),
          - it has disabled output functions (save, print, copy).

Open Keystone API
=================
Keystones are dynamically loadable extensions for Tailor.  The
keystone programming interface specification is now available from
the Oregon State archive server (see below).  The specification
includes full documentation on how to write keystones.  Several
source code examples are provided.

This means that users or third parties can develop specific
solutions, leveraging the power of the base application.

Archive Server
==============
The files listed below have been submitted to the Oregon State
archive server (ftp.cs.orst.edu).  They now reside in
/pub/next/submissions and will soon be transferred to
/pub/next/demos/graphics by the archive administrator.
